RUFC - Injury Update

Rotherham United physio, Dennis Circuit gave an update of the injury news to MillersWorld this morning.

Speaking about Stephen Brogan, he said, 'Stephen is doing very well. He had the operation in the morning and it went well with no complications. He's had a nail inserted down into the bone. Myself and the management went to Milton Keynes to see him yesterday afternoon and he managed to have a smile on his face even though he was still coming round from the operation. We are looking positive and will look after him the best we can. There is no time scale for this sort of injury as every player is different. He will have to have the nail taken out at some stage and we will be guided by our consultant in Sheffield who will liaise with the consultant at Milton Keynes. It all depends on how quick it heals but we are looking at him being out for several months. We hope he will be released in the next couple of days.

'Goalkeeper, Steven Cann has been out for some time with a shoulder injury but has been doing goalkeeping work for several weeks now and I've handed him over to Simon Tracey, the goalkeeping coach. We hope that sometime next week he'll be back in full training with the squad.'

I'm sure Paddy will be in the best possible hands as he fights his way through this.

As long as he does what he's told, doesn't try to run before he can walk and eats his spinach I am sure he is going to be fine.

i think the club will give him the best thats available to them and lets hope he comes home pretty soon and takes it easy until it heals properly
