RUFC - Robins Pre Stockport

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins knows that tonight is not going to be a pushover for the Millers. Jim Gannon brings his Stockport County team to Millmoor on the back of eight league games without loss and five places below Rotherham in the table.

Speaking to RotherFM, Robins said, 'Stockport are a good side and have a bright manager. They're no mugs. They are a young side, I think the eldest is twenty-six but they are no pushover.

'I think we did great at Milton Keynes and it was pleasing that we got back and kept pushing on. I thought Jamie Yates and Ryan Taylor made a difference when they came on and did very well. Danny Harrison was unlucky not to get a second goal and Andy Warrington made a great save when it could have gone to two-nil.

'We've had a blip but came back great with, what I thought, was an excellent result at MK Dons. We have to look to push on now because we've had a tough run of games but other teams are going to have the same sorts of games towards the end of the season. It's disappointing to drop to fourth because we want to be up there.'

Speaking about Stephen Brogan, who broke his leg on Saturday during the second half, 'He's had the operation and he's coming to terms with the injury now. And you know, he'll be back playing in the side before he knows it. He's determined enough and enthusiastic enough to put in the necessary work and there will be no problems with him. It affected everyone at the club. There's a togetherness with all the players and all the staff here. We went to see him in hospital before we left on Saturday and we're keeping in touch with him. We know he's being well looked after and we can concentrate on the Stockport game.'
