RUFC - Breck 'gutted'

Rotherham United Assistant Manager, John Breckin has been associated with the club for forty years and told The Star that he is 'gutted' after the announcement by the Board on Monday about the financial troubles at the club.

Breck came through the schoolboy ranks at Millmoor and has had many jobs over the years from left-back, captain of the first team, youth coach, a brief stint as caretaker manager and assistant manager to both Ronnie Moore and Mark Robins.

But, as only a Miller can, he put on the British stiff upper lip and yesterday and said, 'It's a sad day and it was a knock for us all but we are determined to stick together and we'll come through it.'
