'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - 'players will give one 100%'

Rotherham United manager spoke to Radio Sheffield today and said that as far as he is concerned his players will go out on Saturday and give one hundred per cent.

Speaking about the situation at Millmoor at the moment he said, 'Should the minus ten points be on the horizon it will be a shame because of how hard we have worked. I am not privy to any of the financial matters but I have been told that it hasn't come to asking the players to defer their wages.

'We need to get everyone behind us, that means everyone at the club and the supporters, who I am sure will back us all the way to the end of what we hope will be a promotion season. We need something to happen quickly off the field and we know the Board are working hard. We can do our bit on the field by trying to secure three points on Saturday. We will control what we can and I am sure who ever is picked to play will give one hundred per cent because they are a great set of lads. There will be people watching and waiting to pick off our players but that isn't going to happen.'
