'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - 'we can deal with pressure'

Rotherham United midfielder, Ian Ross has told The Advertiser that 'there are twelve games left and there will be a lot of pressure on us but the lads can deal with that.'

Twenty-two year old Ross is only contracted at Millmoor until the end of the season, after first coming on loan from Sheffield United and said, 'I would be happy to stay here but it depends if the gaffer wants to keep me.'

Ross played his part in the win over Lincoln last weekend and kept his place for the game at Bradford on Tuesday night and, although the Millers lost, he thought we were the better side. 'No disrespect to them but I thought we played some decent football and passed 'em to death but we made the type of mistakes we can't afford to make. I set up a couple of goals on Tuesday but I would rather we got the points. I was gutted after the game.'

Agreeing with what Mark Robins said earlier in the week about the possibility of losing ten points, he carried on, 'When the gaffer told us about the points we were all shocked but you have to get on with it and it's not even playing on my mind now. We've got to focus on playing football and getting as many points as we can.'
