RUFC - Robins 'had a bad month'

Rotherham United take on Accrington Stanley this afternoon at Millmoor and Manager, Mark Robins is hoping the team can get back to winning ways.

Speaking to RotherFM he said, 'We've had a bad February but now we've got March and April to put it right. The run we've just been on, other teams are going to go on runs like that.

'We have to put results together - I can't fault the effort on Tuesday night at Bradford. Ryan Taylor's goal was an excellent finish and Chris O'Grady played the best he's played for a while. I can't fault the effort for Tuesday night, they never let their heads go down and they played until the final whistle but we've got to start picking up points and getting back to the mean defence we've had all season.

'Accrington are up next and they are a workman like side who have good players within their ranks. But I feel if we play like we did Tuesday night, barring the mistakes, then, until the end of the season we'd win more than we lose. We have to focus on ourselves and reach the same standards as we did in our attacking play.

'There's a quarter of the season left and we've a lot to play for.'

Bit of an understatement the bad month one - but at least the manager is keeping the team positive

like he said, the other teams up with us still have to play each other so will take points of each other
