Robins still eyeing play-offs

Despite all the off the field problems at Rotherham manager Mark Robins is not giving up on a play-off spot this season.

After going into administration this week the Millers were docked 10 points, which saw them drop from 7th - 11th, 6 points outside of the play off places. Despite this, and the negative and obviously sad consequences that administration has had on the club, costing some their jobs, Robins is not content to see the season fade away, he told the Sheffield Star: "It would be one of the great achievements anywhere in football this season if we can still get in those play-offs and that is what we are still aiming for.

"This has been hanging over us for a while. There has been some negativity, which has taken its toll, but now it has come to a head and finally happened.

"We could sit and sulk and feel sorry for ourselves. Or we can say that it has happened, we accept it and now show the determined side and say we're going to get on with the job and try our best to win all our games.

"It is certainly the time for everybody to stick together, and that includes the supporters who will be feeling a bit down as well. We have a real achievement open to us. Let's go for it."

The quest to make up some of this lost ground begins tomorrow against Bradford at Millmoor.
