'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Hudson 'think of the fans'

Rotherham United midfield player, Mark Hudson says, that despite the off the field distractions at Millmoor, he thinks the team owe it to the fans to finish the season on a positive note.

'The fans are fantastic and I think we owe them something,' he told The Advertiser. 'The away support in particular has been brilliant. They've travelled all over supporting us and we want to finish strong for them.

'Personal and professional pride is also important to me. When you cross that white line you are representing yourself and the club and you have to give it your best.

'It's the first time I've been in a situation like this and it's the most difficult time of my career and if you're not paid at the end of the month it's a worry, because, like everyone else, I have bills to pay. But, the problems have to go out of the window when you step on the pitch and you have to do the business and hope everything else will look after itself.

'Everyone is gutted about losing the ten points but we have to put it behind us if we don't want the season to fizzle out.'

Hudson was very critical of the 4-1 loss to Rochdale on Monday saying, 'we were comfortable at one all but when we needed to be strong we just caved in.'
