'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Knill Issues Rallying Call

Rotherham manager alan knill today issued a rallying call to everyone connected with the club.

After watching his team gain a second successive victory at swindon last saturday the millers gaffer had this to sayboss

'Now we have the momentum we need to build on this winning streak'

The financially-crippled League One outfit beat relegation rivals Swindon 3-2 last Saturday.

It followed their 2-0 victory against Bournemouth four days earlier and elevated the Millers to within two points of safety.

'We are doing pretty well at the moment and if we can take that in to the Chesterfield game who knows where it can take us,' said Knill.

'There are no individuals, we are a team together and long may that continue.

'Now we have sent out a message to everyone - we are here to entertain and lift spirits

Ironically if the millers win on saturday and results at the bottom go there way, they could find themselves out of the bottom four- something im sure even the most die hard supporters wouldnt have forecast only 7 days ago

nice to hear we got 'Performance of The Week' for our win on Saturday and also well done to Lee Williamson who got in the best players team of the week - it all helps and might even bring in the punters against Chesterfield.
