RUFC - Four Weeks And Counting

For Rotherham United, 4 May 2008 could be a very important day - important and sad. Because, this is the date that, unless a suitable buyer for the club is found, Rotherham United will cease to exist.

As we know the sales packages have gone out to potential purchasers and the Administrator, Jeremy Bleazard released a press statement on Wednesday evening saying that there were eight interested parties although several had been ruled out as they couldn't satisfy him that they had enough funds to save the club and take it forward.

For any Millers out there, now is the time to get down and show your support for the club. There are only three home games left and it could be that these will be the last ever football matches at Millmoor. So, come on, get yourselves down there starting tomorrow and let's show all of football that we do want a team in the town and we want that team to be called Rotherham United.
