'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Robins Post Grimsby

Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins, was in a much happier frame of mind after seeing his team get three points away at Grimsby today.

Speaking to the Official Site, he said, 'It's been a long time coming. They did much better passing today and, although we had to soak up some pressure, we looked comfortable.

'Ryan Taylor took his goal superbly well. He put their lad under pressure and got a reward for it and hopefully that will be something he will continue to do. And we got more from our strikers. Tom Cahill held the ball up well and we looked as if we were enjoying defending and I think for the most part of the game we were value for money today.

'Hopefully, we will continue with this positivity and it is a credit to everyone today that they forgot their troubles.

The supporters who turned up were singing their hearts out and got behind us. They were asked to boycott the game but it's always nice to have fans singing and cheering us.

'Today was what Rotherham United is all about.'
