'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Joseph 'good performance'

Rotherham United beat Grimsby Town at Blundell Park on Saturday and defender, Marc Joseph said it was a good win and a good performance.

Speaking to RotherFM he said, 'It was good to see the young player scoring, Ryan Taylor's nearly got as many goals as me now!

'Andy Warrington said he didn't have a shot to save and that's all credit not only to the back four or five but to the front men as well. We'd been working on that formation for the last week or so and it was good that it paid off.

'If it hadn't been for the administration we would like to think that we would have been in the play-offs but once we knew they'd gone the gaffer has tried to make training a bit for enjoyable. We've obviously been focussing on the up and coming games but we've tried to make it a bit more fun and take the pressure off a bit.

'We've had to brush what's been happening off the field to the side and get on with it. We're all human and it has affected us, it's like if you owned a paper shop or other business, someone has come in and taken away your livelihood.

'We've had meeting after meeting but we've got a good bunch of lads here and we talk together and we are going to get through this together.'
