'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Taylor ' been inconsistent'

Rotherham United's goalscorer on Saturday, Ryan Taylor, said 'If I'm honest, I just closed my eyes, hit it and hoped for the best.'

Speaking to the Official Site, the nineteen year old striker said, 'I think I have played well in spells this season but been a little inconsistent. Hopefully, next season, I will be looking to push on and do better. I think my game has improved and I am a bit stronger and can take it further next year.

'We've been on a bad run of late but let's hope this win can push us on and we can get a few more under our belt.'

Ryan has played twenty-one games this season and that was his sixth goal against Grimsby on Saturday.
