'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Twenty-four hours

Rotherham United's new owners should know who they are within the next twenty four hours, The Star reports today.

Jeremy Bleazard, the Administrator, received a number of bids (possibly as many as five)before the deadline he had set on Friday and has spent this weekend reading through them. He will then select a 'preferred bidder' and contact them so that formal talks can begin about them taking over. Of course, there will still be a lot to do before a deal is completed.

Manager, Mark Robins, said, 'There being a number of bids gives everyone at the club belief and hope. Let's hope something can be sorted out satisfactorily. I shall be seeking a meeting with the Administrator because there are questions that I, and the players, need answering.'

Hope you get the best and that this lot are able to sort out the problems once and for all.
The Fear
Don't we all, Mr Fear. I really hope the Administrator looks long and hard at the future these prospective buyers have for the club. I don't want to be here, doing the same thing again in another two years. I think we will 'get out of jail' this time but really don't believe that, should it happen again, we'll survive

Things are definitely looking more hopeful.
