RUFC - Administrator to name preferred bidder?

Rotherham United could know the person that the Administrator thinks is the best to take over the club within the next twenty-four hours.

After reporting earlier today that, according to The Star, an announcement didn't look forthcoming until the middle of next the BBC via Radio Sheffield says there could be an announcement today or tomorrow.

Steve Exley, who is on the committee of the Millers Trust told the local radio that he believes the deal with the preferred bidder is very close. 'I know there are five bidders and meetings have taken place,' he said. 'Jeremy Bleazard (the Administrator), has been going through them with a fine tooth comb and he is really the only person who knows how near we are to a new owner.'

I don't know about any other Millers fans but I'm getting a bit fed up with one person saying one thing and another saying something else regarding when the new buyers will be announced.

I really do think that Mr Bleazard will be looking carefully at all the received bids for the club and I would rather he took his time, went into every bid carefully before he makes a decision.

After all, this should be the last dealings he, or any other administrator, has with Rotherham United - let's hope it's because whoever takes over can take the club forward and isn't there just to secure the future for another eighteen months or so.

I think to stop the rumours it should be sooner rather than later but I want him to do a proper job this time and get someone who can prove that they can keep the club going for at least 5 seasons if not longer
