RUFC - Confussion as Russian withdraws offer
Radio Sheffield has announced this afternoon that a Russian Billionaire has pulled out of a bid to buy Rotherham United.
Jeremy Bleazard, the Administrator at Millmoor, said earlier that he hoped to have picked his preferred bidder by tomorrow but now says he needs more time, although it is unclear if this is because of the Russian's decision to withdraw his bid.
It is said that the decision behind the Russian billionaires change of heart was after a deal to lease Millmoor from the Booth family fell through.
There is a rumour also that the Booth family have threatened an injunction on any new owner who fails to give them the privileges they already get which includes FA Cup tickets and use of the club physio.
