'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Latest Injury News

Rotherham United have been pretty lucky this season with injuries and let's hope it continues for the last two games.

Stephen Brogan, who had a double break of his leg in February, is managing to hobble (his words!) without crutches now and his manager, Mark Robins, said he is progressing well. He's been busy in the gym and the pool, which he told The Advertiser has been boring but he knows if he wants to get his fitness back then he has to put in the hours. He goes to Lilleshall next week and will spend four days being assessed and put through his paces. Stephen says he is looking forward to it though he knows it will be hard work but he says, 'With a lot of hard work I'm sure in just over a years time I'll be laying in the sun recalling another free-kick flying into the net.'

Stephen - I hope you are right!

Mark Robins told RotherFM that Ian Sharps has had his hernia operation and is running again though he feels tomorrow's game at Mansfield may be a little too early for him

It is hoped that Andy Warrington will be OK but Robins said that if not there is an able deputy in Mark Oxley.
