'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Robins pre Mansfield

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, has told his team that he is expecting a competitive game tomorrow.

'Mansfield are playing for their lives,' he told RotherFM. 'But, we are going to go there hoping to get our third win on the bounce. We have to take the confidence from the last couple of games into tomorrows game and take all three points.

'Michael Boulding will be a threat, he's got a good tally of goals this season. But, we are going with a positive frame of mind.

'It was difficult to turn things round but we got two great results in our last games. We did things a bit different - but the main difference has been the lightening of the mood after so much negativity around the place.

'We are all hoping to know who will take over soon and whoever it is I hope the club can be built on a firm foundation so that things like this won't happen again. Because of the financial problems we've had to move people out and build from scratch and that's not healthy for a football club.

'I've not had any contact about any of the players - I've just put a side together and I don't want to have to start dismantling it, maybe if I get some backing I'd like to add a couple of players to strengthen the squad.

'Credit to everyone. We've stuck together and we want to finish the season on a high note.'

It depends how many of the youth team lads will be ready towards the end of next season - I do think we might need cover. We have been very lucky on the injury front I think this season and great regards the yellow cards
