'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Robins 'We Coped Well'

Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins, was pleased with the win over Mansfield yesterday, though says his team missed one or two chances to kill off the game.

Speaking to the Official Site he said, ''I think we restricted them to half chances and, on a bobbly pitch, controlled the game. The winning goal was a bit out of the blue. After Jamie Yates had hit it, we watched as the wind made it a real up and under.

'Ryan Taylor picked up an injury and I replaced him with Derek Holmes while I thought Tom Cahill was looking a bit tired and was in danger of getting sent off.

'Tom had had a good chance to score but instead of picking his spot, he hit it straight at the 'keeper. You have to be ice cold in front of goal and that's something he has to work on.

'I thought we were good value for the win and the lads are full of confidence. Let's hope we can make it four on the trot next week.'
