'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Press Release over Takeover

Rotherham United Administrator, Jeremy Bleazard has issued a press release saying that the preferred bidders he is talking to are ASD Lighting PLC and that the talks are in an advanced stage.

The Chairman of ASD Lighting PLC is Tony Stewart and he told the official Site 'As someone who has been a major employer in the town for many years I am aware of the important role the football club has in the community. I am eager to secure the clubs future.'

Paul Douglas, Chief Operating Officer at Millmoor said, 'On behalf of all the staff and players at the club and no doubt the loyal supporters this announcement comes as a huge relief. We are hopeful that we can now start looking forward to a much brighter future.'

There are still a number of technical issues to deal with but Mr Bleazard believes he has selected the correct people who will take the club forward.

Let's hope he has.
