RUFC - Robins 'Relieved'

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, told The Advertiser, that he is 'relieved that the future of the club has been sorted.'

Robins met with owner/chairman in-waiting, Tony Stewart this week and they discussed the issue of next years playing squad.

The Millers have twelve of the squad still under contract for another year which means, although there may be some new faces brought in, there won't be a complete new squad like last summer.

'I can start to look forward now. There are a lot of things to sort out before I can announce a retained list but at least I can start planning.'

After three wins on the trot, Robins says the players deserve credit for turning the corner.

A lot has been made this week about tomorrow being our last game at Millmoor and the Millers boss has a message for the supporters tomorrow

'We need the supporters to be sensible tomorrow and not remove the seats (as souvenirs) because this might not be our last game at Millmoor. If it turns out that it is then at least you can say 'I was there'.''

(I think he heard your plan, Taff!!!)
