RUFC - Robins on the proposed takeover
Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, told RotherFM that he was relieved that the club had been saved - again.
'Over the coming days and weeks there will be a lot of things to discuss but we've got to build from a firm foundation and make sure we have a healthy future,' he said.
'Tony Stewart came down to the training ground to introduce himself to players and staff. He's full of energy and enthusiasm and he told the players that he wants success.
'We still have things to talk about like where we will be playing and training next season which we won't know for a few weeks. It will be a shame if we are forced out of Millmoor. And there's the points issue which will have a bearing on next season and we have to sit down and discuss all this.
'The minus ten points was a disaster this season and it robbed us of promotion. The morale took a dip and it was difficult to turn the corner and get back in there. But credit has to go to the players. I think there are only ourselves and Leeds who have had minus points who haven't gone down - and perhaps Bournemouth will survive too. Which is an achievement but scant consolation. But, let's move on and see if we can build on it.
'We want to finish the season with a fourth win on the trot today.'
