'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Stewart 'We can move this club forward'

Rotherham United are expected to officially announce Tony Stewart as the new owner of the club sometime this week. On Saturday he made his first appearance on the pitch at Millmoor with words of support.

'I aim to do a good job here and I look forward to your continued support. Together we can move this club forward. I am looking forward to a good season next season. Let's succeed together.'

The fans inside Millmoor stood and applauded him showing him their support.

The win against Barnet should have pleased him if not the performance, that helped the Millers finish in ninth place in League Two.

Let's hope the man is installed sooner rather than later now he's appeared to the public - after all we've had people paraded on the pitch before with nothing coming of it.

Been there before you see CTE - people on the pitch saying they've bought the club only to pull out the day after. But, he does seem genuine this chap so...

Still heard nothing, CTE - hope your fingers recover!
