RUFC - Hursty

Rotherham United veteran, Paul Hurst, will have the chance to help get Burton Albion to Wembley tonight.

Hursty is on loan at Burton and tonight they play the second leg of the Blue Square Premier Play-off semi-final against Cambridge United. If Burton win then they will go to Wembley in the Final against Exeter City.

Unfortunately, Hurst's loan spell ends the day before the play off final but it is thought that Albion boss, Nigel Clough, will ask for special dispensation so he can play.

It was good to see Hursty on Saturday evening at the Supporters Club Player of the Year Presentation - and maddening that he doesn't look a day older than when he first got into the first team!

Let's hope a Miller gets to Wembley!

I understand that the appeal for Hursty to have his loan extended for the Wembley date has been turned down by the Football League - I can't really understand why
