RUFC - Robins prefers Millmoor

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, told The Star that he would prefer Rotherham United to be playing at Millmoor next season ... but, is prepared to go anywhere.

With the new owners not yet installed, the question of where the Millers will call home next season is on every supporters mind.

It is thought that owner in waiting, Tony Stewart will be having talks with the Booth family, who are the landlords at Millmoor, today and that he wants to announce his official taking over of the club and the ground situation together.

If Millmoor is out of the question then it is thought the team will play at Don Valley Stadium in Sheffield. Where the club office/shop will re-locate to is yet unknown.

Robins said, 'I would prefer us to play at Millmoor but if we are forced away then so be it. If this is the news then I hope it coincides with plans for a new stadium.

'And, wherever we go, I hope the majority of our support comes with us.'
