RUFC - Will we be at Millmoor next season?

Rotherham United players, staff and fans are still no nearer knowing where the team will play their home games next season.

Talks between would be owner, Tony Stewart and the landlords of Millmoor, The Booth family seem to have stalled after a meeting the other evening.

Chief Operating Officer, Paul Douglas, who was in a meeting with Mr Stewart, Ken Booth snr and his sons Ken jnr and James, told The Advertiser, 'Both sides are aware of each others position, have put their cases and there is not a lot else to discuss.

'There are three main sticking points - the rent, the length of the lease and the dilapidation of the ground. If we can't find a solution with these then the club will move away from Millmoor.

'Both sides are aware that time is moving on and a solution will be reached maybe today or next week.'

Mr Douglas also said that the takeover of the club should be formally completed once 'one or two small issues had been sorted out between lawyers.

Though it would be a clean break from Booth there I for one will enjoy going ther next season. Expect at least another 2000 Imps as well.
