RUFC - Millmoor Crowds Drop

After hearing that Coca Cola Football League crowds had risen last season by more than 6.5% The Advertiser reports today that crowds at Millmoor dropped by 11.8%.

With the best crowd at Millmoor this season being 6,709, on the United Rotherham Day, attendences for league games dropped by 12,885 on last season. Our lowest crowd of the season was against Brentford in April and was just 2,979. Although the average gate of 4,201 was the tenth highest in the league.

League Two crowds, as a whole, were up by just under 5%.

Ours down too (because we have been crap for long periods) i think the bradford revolution and the franchise new stadia plugged a lot of gaps.

League two attendances were up in the main due to Bradford and MK, but the overall average went up when having looked at the comparison from the previous season 15 teams were down.
