Here are the results of some of our recent polls:-
Who Will Win the FA Cup?
Well, the majority of the people who voted were correct with Pompey
Portsmouth (88%)
Cardiff (12%)
and the next poll we had was Who was your Man of the Match in the FA Cup Final? with the results being -
Kanu - Pompey (45%)
Glen Johnson - Pompey (12%)
Sol Campbell - Pompey (9%)
David James - Pompey (7%)
Roger Johnson - Cardiff (6%)
Aaron Ramsey - Cardiff (6%)
Lassana Diarra - Pompey (6%)
Paul Parry - Cardiff (3%)
Other Cardiff Player (3%)
Other Pompey Player (3%)
Of course, Kanu scored the only goal of the match butI actually went for Pompey's Glen Johnson who I thought had a good game.
Earlier we had a poll to see who would win the Premiership and here is the result
Who cares (75%)
Man U (16%)
Chelsea (9%)
Well the 'who cares?' came out top of that one! Being in League Two, after the first couple of rounds, the FA Cup doesn't usually mean that much to us! It would be great to have a good cup run next season.
Recent Polls regarding the Millers -
We picked Jamie Green as the Man of the Match for our last game of the season where he got his first senior goal and the Millers winner.
Our next poll was about Season Tickets for next season Will you be getting a season ticket next season?
Yes, of course I will (59%)
No (20%)
Possibly, depends on the deals (20%)
I always have but not this time (1%)
and it seems that over half of those voting will get their wallets out and buy one. With all that's been going on at Millmoor the season ticket prices have yet to be announced. I expect, and hope, it will be the first thing that the prospective new owner sorts out when he has put pen to paper.
Then we had a poll about our proposed move to Don Valley Stadium, should Millmoor not be available next season -
IF we have to move to Don Valley, will you go and watch the Millers?
The majority said 'yes' - personally, I had (well, still have) reservations about lower league football at Don Valley. Apart from the fact that it's in Sheffield the vicinity of the pitch from the stands would be a problem for me. The vote went:
Yes (79%)
No (10%)
I'd give it a try (9%)
I shall only go to away games (2%)
Our new poll is now up - about tomorrow nights Champions League Final.
