RUFC - New International in the team?

Rotherham United could have a new International at the start of next season....no, I haven't got any inside information that we're signing Ronaldo, Beckham or Gerrard, I'm talking about our own Marc Joseph!

Apparently, Mr Joseph Senior, Sam, heard that Antigua were on the look out for players and as quick as you like got in touch with them with Marc's details.

Officials from Antigua came to see Joseph play a couple of times and said they would like him to play for the International side. They wanted him to play against Aruba a few weeks ago, but it was a busy time for the Millers and so his international debut was put on hold.

Hopefully, he will be in the squad for a two-legged World Cup qualifier against Cuba next month, providing all the paperwork can be sorted.

Speaking to The Advertiser, Marc said, 'My birth certificate has gone missing and I am in the process of trying to sort it out. Hopefully when that's done I will be able to play against Cuba. It will be good preperation for pre-season training.'

Congratulations, Marc, from all at Vital.
