RUFC - Stewart 'Disappointed we aren't staying'

Rotherham United's owner in waiting, Tony Stewart has told RotherFM that he is disappointed that he couldn't secure Millmoor so the club could stay there.

'I did my level best, offering to buy Millmoor,' Mr Stewart said, 'because it was the best place to be. But, realistically and professionally, we couldn't do a deal.

'The only real way forward for the club is to have its own ground and a ground that is in Rotherham. I have seen the plans and I genuinely believe it will happen.'

Earlier today a spokesman for Don Valley said there shouldn't be a problem with League games kicking-off at the traditional time of 3pm on a Saturday.
