'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Robins 'look to the future'

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, says the club mustn't dwell on the past after leaving Millmoor that had been 'home' for the last one hundred years.

He admitted to The Star that when he heard the news he was 'disappointed. But, we have to view it as a step forward and draw a line under the past.

'Change can cause fear but once the emotion is out of the way we can look forward. Moving to Don Valley is only an interim measure and I know that Tony Stewart is looking to step up the process of getting a new stadium a little more quickly.

'After all, it's not as if we are going to be at Don Valley for ten years - our new stadium will be coming along and it's an exciting future for the club.'

I hope you are right, Mark! I don't want to linger at Don Valley too long.
