RUFC - Stewart 'Confident about points decision'

Rotherham United have been looking over their shoulder at both Luton and Bournemouth to see what points deduction they have been given by the Football League.

After being deducted ten points last season for going into administration it was a big possibility that, if the club couldn't come out of administration via a CVA, that a further fifteen point penalty might be given.

But, new Chairman and Owner, Tony Stewart believes that the club have a good case to avoid more point penalties.

Speaking to the BBC, Mr Stewart said, 'We have put a case together and the administrators are quite confident, but, of course, it is up to the Football League to look at our CVA.

'The worst case scenario is that we lose fifteen points but that is as bad as it could get. We hope it will be better than that.'

A decision should be reached within the next five weeks.

Lets hope you don't suffer our fate and get a 15 point penalty. After the move to Don VAlley the least you deserve is to start on level points.
