RUFC - New Training Ground Found

Rotherham United not only had to find somewhere to play next season after they left Millmoor after over one hundred years but they were also left without a training ground.

Hooton Lodge, where the team had trained and the Youth had their headquarters, was part of the deal with the former landlord so when Millmoor went this went too.

The new owner,Tony Stewart and manager, Mark Robins, have travelled around the surrounding area looking for somewhere for training and according to The Star today, somewhere has been found and it will not be the stadium at Don Valley.

But, as final details have to be completed the club don't want to reveal where this will be, although they say they are confident that somewhere has been found for the squad to report to for pre-season training.

It could be the local park. The players have been told to bring jumpers so they can be used as goalposts!!!!
