RUFC - Burchill 'Boss swayed me'

Rotherham United's latest signing, Mark Burchill, is no stranger to the Millers fans as he had a loan spell at Millmoor back in 2004 although an injury cut his time short.

He is no stranger to manager, Mark Robins, either as they both played up front together for Sheffield Wednesday, when Burchill had a months loan with them.

Speaking to The Star, Burchill said, 'I knew Mark from my time at Hillsborough. When I found out he'd enquired about me I was really interested. I would have stopped in Scotland, even though I was out of contract at Dunfermline, but Mark's interest swayed me.'

I think he will be a very good signing. He's played at a much higher level.
