RUFC - Carling Cup Draw

Rotherham United will play SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY at Hillsbro' in the first round of the Carling Cup

Sheffield Wednesday Assistant Manager, Russ Wilcox told the Owls Official Site, 'It should be a good game against Rotherham - it was certainly a good game when we played them last year.'

Last season, the Millers were drawn at home, at Millmoor, against the Owls for the first round of the same competition. The home team went ahead with a dipping shot from Chris O'Grady but the Owls came back with goals from Glenn Whelan, Deon Burton and a spectacular goal from Wade Small.

The games are due to be played the week beginning 11th August, but no news yet of when the game will be played. Sheffield United have also got a home draw against Port Vale.
