'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Breckin says 'Burchill wants goals'

Rotherham United Assistant Manager, John Breckin, has said that new striker, Mark Burchill 'wants to score goals.'

Speaking to The Star, Breck said, 'We had Mark here a few years ago and were gutted when he got injured and had to go back to Portsmouth.

'The gaffer knows him and is confident he'll do a good job for us.

'I think he is someone we need and that he will get goals for us at this level. He's got good experience and pace.'

Burchill joins the Millers from Dunfermline.

I like the positive attitude, by John and Mark.

That's what strikers ARE supposed to do, yes - but this one sounds like he WANTS to do it, which, I think could make the difference.

I think he's a quality player for Division four. Every club looks for a twenty goal a season man and he's got the capability in your Division.
