RUFC - 'Breckin 'Boulding decision soon'

Rotherham United Assistant Manager, John Breckin told RotherFM that he is optimistic about Michael Boulding coming to the club.

He said that manager, Mark Robins, who is on a 'working holiday' was talking to Michael all the time and they are expecting a decision when the striker returns from a week away.

'He has a lot of options,' Breckin said, 'but if he opts to play in this league then I think we have a great chance of getting him, it's just that a club from a higher league might turn his head a bit.

'If he comes to Rotherham United then he will be welcome here by the staff and the fans and he knows Mark will work with him in training and coach him.

'I'm optimistic and I think it would be the right decision for him but he has to want to come to play for Rotherham United.

'If we don't get Mike then we have other irons in the fire. We've been in touch with other clubs over long term loans for young strikers and got positive answers from that.

'We are looking to buy in another couple of players to strengthen the squad, especially up front.'
