RUFC - Expect to play Saturday

Rotherham United's move to Sheffield brought with it the worry that Saturday games would be a thing of the past when South Yorkshire Police thought it would stretch manpower to have two League teams playing in the City on a Saturday.

But, it seems that the Rotherham based Police have said they will continue to cover the Millers home games and so it looks like we will be seeing you all on Saturdays at 3pm in our new home.

Chief Operating Officer, Paul Douglas, spoke to The Advertiser this week saying,'There are discussions going on between Rotherham and Sheffield Police about how things are going to be organised. I understand Rotherham Police will be content to continue covering our games.'
