'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Football in Community has bright future

Rotherham United's Football in the Community scheme is to carry on.

After fears that the move away from Millmoor and Hooton Lodge would leave the scheme without a home it seems that the whole set up, which is now to be called Rotherham United Community Sports Trust, will move to the new club offices at Barbot Hall.

Head of the scheme, Dale Spiby, told The Advertiser, 'I want to make it clear that we are still very much here and that our work will in no way be affected by this move. We are essentially a mobile unit anyway.

'We have just been officially recognised as a registered charity and the future is bright.'
