RUFC - Striker first then winger

Rotherham United are hoping to hear if Michael Boulding has made a decision on whether or not he is joining the Millers sometime this week.

Mansfield striker Boulding has been away for a week to think about his options and according to the Lincolnshire Echo has told Lincoln City Assistant boss, Iffy Onuora, that he wants to play as high as he possibly can. If this is so it looks like that would rule the Millers out of the equation.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield Assistant Manager, John Breckin said, 'Once we have got a striker then we will be looking to bring in a wide man with a bit of pace.

'We need another piece of armoury to call upon - another weapon if you like.'

Wasn't that what we thought though - he's holding out for a bigger club.

I think all the clubs that have come in for him are in League Two.

I know of us, Lincoln and Grimsby so you might be right, Dazza.

Bradford also, the only league 1 team I'm aware showed interest were Scumthorpe, who said they had pulled out but it may have been just a ploy all along.

I think he's seeing if a better offer comes along, which I don't suppose you can blame him for. I just hope we aren't hanging about waiting for him and let other players slip through our fingers
