RUFC - The Pirates visit the Millers

Rotherham United have been quick off the mark to organise a new pre-season friendly after their game against Leeds United was cancelled after concerns from the Police.

Instead, on Wednesday, 30th July, Bristol Rovers will be the visitors to Don Valley.

From Rovers Official Site, first team coach, Paul Trollope says, 'This is an excellent fixture, although it may not catch everyone's imagination as that. In terms of competition and travelling it is a realistic game for us and this is very important for us in terms of preperation.'

Still a League One team. Have to tell you that the Rovers fans aren't over impressed either!

At least you have managed to arrange another game but not the money spinner the club could well do with at the moment.
