RUFC - Robins 'Glad he's staying'

Rotherham United captain, Graham Coughlan has decided to stay with the club after Shrewsbury put in a bid for him.

Thirty-three year old Coughlan joined the Millers last summer from neighbours, Sheffield Wednesday, after it was reported that he turned down a move to Leeds United.

Manager, Mark Robins told The Star, 'In the midst of all the problems here, there was a bid from Shrewsbury. We looked at the situation and let Graham talk to them.

'But, I am quite happy that he has decided to stay with us.'

He's a decent defender. I am surprised no one as yet snapped up Graham Lee who was released by Donny at the end of the season.

I think if Cocko does go, as there is fresh news that Shrews have upped the deal, then Graham Lee would be a good replacement for him
