RUFC - Robins on Rhodes

Rotherham United signed Alex Rhodes yesterday from Bradford City on a years contract and manager, Mark Robins says that he will 'add another string to our bow.'

Speaking to The Advertiser, Robins said, 'We need pace out wide and he will provide that in abundance. He can also play down the middle. When he played against us last season at Bradford, he caused us some problems.

'He needs to improve his delivery and we will work with him to get more consistency in his game.'

Twenty-six year old Rhodes was released from Bradford at the end of the season and also played for Brentford with loan spells at Grays Athletic and Swindon Town.

Even with all the trouble you have had Mark Robins does seem to be assembling a good squad this summer. If you don't suffer a further points deduction I may have to have a few quid on Rotherham for promotion.

Oh yes, my bet was looking good last season, until everything kicked off!! Not seen any prices for next season yet. When will they be out Dazza?
