RUFC - Stewart - 'great response'

RUFC - Stewart - 'great response'

Rotherham United Owner/Chairman, Tony Stewart says he is astonished by the season ticket sales.

Selling more than two thousand, the club have decided to extend the deadline for discounted tickets until next Friday with Mr Stewart telling The Star 'It's a great response from our supporters. They are getting behind the club and they are treating this like a new beginning. People have been really positive about the move to Don Valley.'

Terry Stewart the new Commercial Manager, says, 'Within the number of season tickets sold there are a lot of new season ticket holders and we went past last year's figure in just two weeks.'

How many did you sell last season by comparison? If this is more, and you are having to play in Sheffield well done all.

Certainly is a great response, and we, not usually a big season ticket seller, are just a wee bit behind you.

Were your season tickets a good price, CTE? Ours were cheaper than last season - although, I actually ended up paying more for mine. I sat in the Tivoli last season but have 'upgraded' to the top tier of Don Valley this!

Reduced a bit, but quite a few changes and new incentives were introduced. ours also includes the cost of joining the LCFC trust if you so choose.
