'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Stewart in London for talks

Rotherham United Owner/Chairman, Tony Stewart, is going to London today - but not to see the Queen. His talks are much more serious than going to speak with her majesty as he is going to talk to the FA and Football League.

With the club still having to exit administration through a CVA, today's talks will be to discuss the clubs position.

Speaking to The Star, Mr Stewart said, 'everything is on course for that to happen.'

The Millers still have to regain their Football League Share to compete in the league next season which the football authorities will only return when they are satisfied that the club's affairs are in order.

'We want to make sure everything is transparent,' Mr Stewart carried on. 'I am happy things are coming together.'

The Football League need to pull their fingers out with the clubs who require the CVA at the moment!

It's definitely something that should be at the top of their next meeting agenda - perhaps we should petition them?
