RUFC - Douglas 'A brand new start'

Rotherham United staff moved into their new offices this week on the Barbot Hall Industrial Estate.

The offices are on the premises of ASD Lighting which is owned by new Chairman, Tony Stewart and is set on two levels.

Included in the office space is a ticket office, the club shop, commercial, accounts and room for the Community Trust staff as well as an office for manager, Mark Robins.

Chief Operating Officer, Paul Douglas, told The Advertiser 'These new facilities have brought all the staff together under one roof and that's made such a difference as communication was difficult at Millmoor when people were housed in different offices. We still have a few boxes to unpack and finishing off to do but these are some of the best office facilites for any club at our level.

'If not for the uncertainty over whether we were stopping at Millmoor or not we would have been much further on but now we have finally moved the new surroundings have given everyone a lift.'

The new number to ring is 08444 140 733

You would have thought the Don V would have a bit of office space - but then it will save you some money I guess.

Thing is, Squire, Don Valley is quite a way out for a lot of us Millers to travel to - though Barbot Hall isn't exactly easy! It would be ideal if they could find space in the town tbh
