RUFC - Robins to try out Connor

RUFC - Robins to try out Connor

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins told The Star that he will play Stephen Connor in some pre-season friendlies and give him the chance to prove what he can do.

Twenty year old Connor, who was released by Everton at the end of last season, has been at Millmoor before but after playing one reserve game went back to Merseyside injured.

'He's a winger who is predominantly right footed,' Robins said. 'He's small but quick and I shall see how he does in pre-season matches.'

With Jamie Yates starting to show promise last season and new signing Alex Rhodes, who Assistant Manager, John Breckin says is 'turbo charged', Connor will have to prove his worth if he wants to become a Miller.
