RUFC - King leaves Millers

Rotherham United's ex Reserve and Youth team captain, Liam King has today signed for Matlock Town according to Towns Official Site.

The twenty year old midfielder, who had a loan spell with Altrincham last season was released by the Millers this summer.

Matlock's Official Site says that he likes a tackle and has a good engine.

All at Vital Rotherham wish Liam Good Luck with the Unibond team.

Bit of a step down for the lad isn't it?

At least he will be playing in the first team. He only made the bench a couple of times for us. I liked him. Saw him as captain a couple of times for the reserves.
