'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Douglas 'club happy to be moving'

Rotherham United's Chief Operating Officer, Paul Douglas says that 'people are happy to be moving to Don Valley because the facilities are top notch.'

Speaking to The Star, Mr Douglas carried on, 'In Tony Stewart they see a business man who has been funding the trading of the club for several weeks - he has invested hundreds of thousands of pounds.'

Going on to talk about the clubs problems of going into administration and the creditors meeting, he said, 'The reason the club went into administration in March was that it couldn't afford the level of debt we were in. The creditors' decision is going to affect a number of things but hopefully we can avoid a points deduction.

'We need to reach a deal that will allow us to go forward as a viable business. I don't think the decision, regarding whether the CVA has been possible or not, will be any later than early this week.

'We are absolutely delighted with our progress so far considering the dark position where we have come from.'

Club happy to be moving. Does this now mean that you have got the go ahead to play at the DVS?
Dean1
Not that I know of Dean1. Me, I'm a bit bothered about that tbh. But everyone else seems to be carrying on like it doesn't matter - including the club
herringthorpe
I hope you get it sorted out for your sanity H, and from a selfish point of view it would be nice to know where we are playing our first game of the season LOL.
