'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Millers expecting minus points?

Rotherham United are waiting for the Football League to decide if we will start on minus points again next season.

And, the magic number that people seem to be pulling out of the hat is -15.

The League officials will meet next week to decide our fate and owner, Tony Stewart expects to know their decision on Tuesday.

'The facts are that we didn't get our CVA through in time for last week's expiry date,' Mr Stewart told The Advertiser. 'This means we are now waiting for news from the Football League. But, I have to remain optimistic.'

Mr Stewart says that he is in favour of the bond system which the club will also have to agree to as assurance that, after moving to play their games at Don Valley in Sheffield, the club will move back to Rotherham within the next four years.

'I don't mind the idea of the bond system,' Mr Stewart said, 'it will encourage clubs to watch their finances. It is better for a trip wire to be put in place before the event rather than afterwards.'

I'm a bit at a loss where the '-15' has come from. Heard it a lot this week that that is what we are looking at - I think we will be lucky if it's only that tbh

i feel we could have a luton done to us

I'm expecting it to be 20 points deducted tbh. Luton got the hefty one for other reasons than going into admin. I think anything less than 20 is a bit of a bonus for us

I'm sorry to say I agree with the last, a precident has been set.

It looks like being at least 15 points. It will be a shame after the squad you have put together over the summer.

At least we've managed to put a squad together - look at Luton
